Information About Pebble Groups
What is a Pebble Group?
• A face-to-face/online, giving circle/community of business people who view their secular vocation and ministry calling as an integrated whole, passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission.
• A group of business people focusing their financial resources towards a common purpose. A certain amount of money will be required to join the group.
• An opportunity for business people to have meaningful fellowship experiences around a cause that is bigger than themselves and their own interests.
What is the value of a Pebble Group for givers?
• The added value of a Pebble Group is found in the ownership a giver experiences as a part of the group. The group has empowered them to give where God is leading while reducing the over hassles of giving. The group provides an ongoing awareness that their gift is important and a part of something significant.
What is the mission of the Pebble Group?
To undergird the ministry of Sixteen:Fifteen through:
• Advisory Input
• Financial Investment
• Partner/Donor Networking
• Prayer
What is the vision of the Pebble Group?
• 1,000 churches coached by Sixteen:Fifteen into a strategic missions focus, unleashing an incremental $1,000,000,000 invested into launching church planting movements among 1,000 unreached people groups…within ten years.
• 1,000 unreached peoples represent 1/6th of the remaining unreached people groups.
General notes:
• Sixteen: Fifteen will provide strategic monthly prayer requests, feedback on impact, and a community center through an online platform called “Ripples.”
• The Pebble Group will meet once a month with Sixteen:Fifteen to pray, get updates, and provide advisory input.
• Sixteen:Fifteen will provide opportunities for the Pebble Group partners to participate in 3-D workshops so they can better own and grasp the mission.
Additional thoughts:
• Sixteen:Fifteen wants to meaningfully minister to the Pebble Group so we would like to be kept abreast of prayer requests.
• If the Lord blesses this pilot group, we’d like to launch more groups across the country.
