The UnEvent: No Rubber Chicken, No Soggy Salad, No Boring Speaker
A Word from our President Matthew Ellison

Don't attend our year-end event because we are not having one. At least, we are not having a formal gathering. But, please do stand with us for The UnEvent, as we mobilize churches across North America, unleashing a missions movement of radical compassion, and sacrificial generosity.
Don't mistake The UnEvent with being uneventful. In fact, our aim in not having a formal year-end event is to reduce our expenses, thereby leveraging the gifts of our partners, increasing our stewardship, and maximizing our impact as a ministry. For the last several years, we, like many ministries, have ramped up for a year-end event by securing the table and event sponsors that are necessary to make an actual event possible. However, it has always frustrated me that these pre-event resources end up being expended on details rather than in the direct fulfillment of our mission. Now, I am not saying we will never do another formal event, or that there is no value in gathering ministry partners together. But, in light of the difficult economic season that many folks are in at this time, we are trying something new.
RSVP NOW: Confirm Your UnAttendance http://www.unevent.org/
When you RSVP for The UnEvent you are confirming that you will not be attending our event (because we are not having one) but you will be standing with us in the fulfillment of our mission.
Relax - There's no formal event to attend. Participate in The UnEvent from your personal computer or hand held device.
Sacrifice - Give sacrificially to help us reach our year-end goal of $100,000. Consider investing a significant monthly or one-time gift.
Viral - Take it viral. Because we are not having a formal year-end event, getting the word out to others about The UnEvent is critical.
Pray - Pray for the ministry of Sixteen:Fifteen. We fully acknowledge that mobilizing churches to finish the task is supernatural work that cannot be done unless God does it, so please pray for us.
I pray that you will join with us in making 2012 an Unbelievably fruitful year of ministry as together we trust God to do Unprecedented things for His glory.
